The Lyco Voices is Lycoming College’s first and only student-led ensemble, founded in Williamsport, Pennsylvania by DeQuan Galloway. Created to bring faith, music, culture, and community together through one sound, The Lyco Voices stands as a meaningful expression of worship, unity, and student-led legacy on Lycoming’s campus.

The mission of The Lyco Voices is to create a space where students can worship, sing, lead, connect, and experience community through the power of gospel music. Founded to bring faith, music, culture, and unity together, The Lyco Voices exists to give students a voice, a place of belonging, and an opportunity to share something meaningful with the campus community. This choir represents more than performance. It represents purpose, faith, fellowship, and the beauty of students coming together through one sound.

"This organization aims to broaden the spectrum of music at Lycoming by introducing a different style of music and bringing more modern artists and music into play. I want this to be an opportunity for students to demonstrate and express their voices, which is why The Lyco Voices is open to anyone and everyone to join.
I believe adding a modern and diverse style of music, while still keeping the traditional aspect, can help enrich cultural expression and reinforce the redefinition of music here at Lycoming."
