A Vision Rooted in Purpose
DeQuan Galloway is a worship leader, musician, director, event host, creative visionary, and founder of The Praise Collective Ministry. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, DeQuan’s journey has been shaped by faith, music, leadership, and a deep desire to create spaces where people can encounter God and discover purpose.
After moving to Williamsport, Pennsylvania to attend Lycoming College, DeQuan began walking into a greater assignment than he expected. During his time there, he founded The Lyco Voices, Lycoming College’s first gospel choir, creating a space for students to express faith, culture, worship, and community through music. That foundation would later grow into a larger vision for ministry, leadership development, and creative impact.
Through worship leading, music direction, choir direction, event hosting, workshops, and concert production, DeQuan has served churches, campuses, ministries, and community spaces with excellence and heart. His work is rooted in the belief that worship is more than music — it is a calling, a responsibility, and a way to serve both God and people.
In addition to worship leading and music ministry, DeQuan is passionate about creating concerts, worship experiences, and community-centered events that bring people together through faith, music, creativity, and purpose. He has created, hosted, and produced several concerts and worship experiences, including the Women in Music Concert, the Gospel Christmas Concert, Gospel Through the Years, youth worship gatherings, Praise Collective workshops, and community-centered worship nights. Each event reflects his heart for building spaces where people can encounter God, celebrate their gifts, experience authentic community, and leave inspired, equipped, and strengthened.
As the founder of The Praise Collective Ministry, DeQuan is committed to equipping singers, musicians, creatives, and worship leaders to grow in their gifts, strengthen their faith, and carry their assignments with purpose. His ministry and creative work continue to reflect his passion for worship, leadership, community, and legacy.
DeQuan’s mission is simple: to use faith, music, leadership, and creativity to build spaces that inspire, equip, and bring people closer to God.
